This July will bring a very special celebration for America’s 250th birthday, and I know I will be attending several barbecues and picnics to celebrate with friends and family. I will be sewing a vinyl tote bag for summer use, and I wanted something to attach, to commemorate this celebration and also be a keepsake for the future. This oval stitched emblem is so perfect for this purpose. It is very well made, with quality heavy stitching around the edge, and raised bright red, white and blue colors that have a metallic shine, especially the red. I pulled back a tiny edge to test the adhesive, and it is super strong, so I know this will adhere to my canvas tote, and wear well until I remove it later. This is the official emblem of the anniversary celebration, which accounts for the cost being a little higher than some other items out there. I will save the original background packaging as part of this item, for a keepsake. I took off a star because the ad description says this is a “dual package”, with two items, but there is only one. When I went back to look at the advertisement, in the “product specifications” it says one item, but in the ad it says two. They need to fix that. Still, this is a quality item, and I can’t wait to display it!
